Volunteer questions
Helping Hands will match you with a client in your area and contact you via email with the information
necessary. Please practice proper social distancing and only contact our clients by
email or phone.
You may choose the level of commitment you can afford to give. We appreciate your offer to
help and are grateful for your contribution
If items are out of stock, contact the requester via call, text or email to find a suitable replacement.
You should coordinate with the requester in advance for the method of payment. Always keep the receipt from the purchase.
You can take a photo and send it to our client so they can have a check or cash ready when you arrive with their items.
A digital form of payment is preferable whenever possible to help maintain social distancing.If the requestor has
purchased and paid for the items online with curb side pickup, make sure they have authorized you as the pickup person.
Requester questions
We are currently building a group of volunteers and are not yet fulfilling requests. Once we’ve reached a sufficient number of volunteers we’ll begin accepting requests and matching them with a volunteer.
